Where can I find volunteer opportunities?
Volunteer Iowa hosts an online volunteer connecting website at www.volunteeriowa.org where you can search for local volunteer opportunities. On the homepage, click “Find a Volunteer Opportunity” to search for something that you would enjoy.
If you live in a community with a Volunteer Center, you are encouraged to contact them for additional information on volunteer opportunities. The main Volunteer Iowa website includes a list of Volunteer Centers.
Do all my volunteer hours count toward the Challenge?
No. Only volunteer hours completed from April 1 through May 31 may be reported towards the Give Back Iowa Challenge. Hours reported for activities prior to April 1 or after May 31 will be disallowed.
How do I report my volunteer hours for the Challenge?
