In its fifth year, the Give Back Iowa Challenge had 49 participating organizations representing approximately 45,000 employees in Iowa that logged over 78,000 volunteer hours impacting Iowa communities. Winners were selected in three categories based on the highest average number of volunteer hours per employee. The 2019 winners include:
- Small: POET Biorefining, Hanlontown
- Honorable Mention: INVISION, Des Moines and Waterloo
- Medium: Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company, Clear Lake
- Honorable Mention: First Citizens Bank, Mason City
- Large: Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, Riverside
- Honorable Mention: John Deere Des Moines Area, Des Moines
